iptables-converter software package provides convert iptables-commands from a file to iptables-save format, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iptables-converter
iptables-converter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iptables-converter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iptables-converter *
You will get with iptables-converter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
